Fashion tips for winter…

As we are moving to winter some will be shocked to find that they do not have much to cover themselves in the coming days. Freezing will be the days some will be laughed for failling to find the appropriate jersey or jacket. Some will claim they do not have any of the warm clothes.

This morning when i went to work it was hot and i didn’t carry any jersey.  As i set down to round up my day and seeing  the changes outside i was forced to write something on how to dress as winter is upon us.

Just because it’s cold out doesn’t mean your clothes need to be boring and unflattering. In fact, we firmly believe you have more wardrobe options during the cooler months. These outfit ideas will have you looking cute and cozy all season long.

A Fur Collar Makes Any Outfit Cooler

Add a fur (we prefer faux) collar, shrug or scarf over your jacket or coat and you’ll instantly look more stylish. Rihanna used this trick to dress up jeans and a T-shirt.

Invest in a Statement Coat

Olivia Wilde’s Chanel topper is so gorgeous it doesn’t matter what she was wearing underneath. Look for a version with jewel embellishments and a fun pattern or fabric.

Mix Bold Colors

On the set of Gossip Girl, Leighton Meester paired an orange, printed coat with a blue cap. Try combining hues that seem to clash for a quirky-cute result.

Opt for Red-Hot Red

If you’re going to add one color to your wardrobe this season, it should be red. Eve got it right in this crimson ensemble.

Go All-Black—With Texture

If you’re going to wear this non-color from head to toe, follow Diane Kruger’s lead and make sure the pieces have texture (leather, fur, feathers and braiding in her case). This will keep the look from feeling flat and funeral.
