Two years ago Ntando Van Moyo started a Comedy revolution in Zimbabwe’s second capital and the city which has been termed the Cultural hub. Little did we know that such a revolution will create names to the stand up comedy sector.

It has been a long time coming #teamUMAHLEKISA but all credit goes to Ntando Van Moyo for making the dream possible and putting the guys together. As for the future of the club I dream and wish that we take on bigger stages and take the brand abroad. We want to tell people our story as sons of Zim in our own way that is the funny way.

It has been a wonderful home for me. I remember  when i started the guys made me feel at Home,we have been a great team.

I wish Umahlekisa to keep growing and have more comedians joining the family.

I now perform at different places but i planted my seed of confidence there. Ntando and your team keep on keeping on and thanks for what you have done for Bulawayo because we will be little known if it wasnt for the Umahlekisa Comedy Club(well i would have gone back to theatre)produce more talent and we would love to see more comics from Bulawayo.

Congratulations, Makorokoto, Amhlophe tg Umahlekisa

Proud and happy that the first ever comedy club from the city of kings and queens is turning 2. I want to say Congratulations, Makorokoto, Amhlophe. I wish the  club grows older a Happy second Annivesary and  I pray that the club grows older and train more upcoming aspiring comedians. I also expect the club to bring in International Comedians in the near future  and it being the best comedy club in Zimbabwe.
