Critics have thrown rocks at him, saying he is mimics western Africans in his music. On the other hand the streets are loving the new Mzoe7 sound.Mzoe7 a popular culture musician from Bulawayo is making waves in the streets and night clubs in the City of Kings.

Urban culxure recently caught up with the growing music brand and we had a chat about his new sound. The charismatic musician says his new sound is called moogunation; it is a mixture of hip hop and dance. He introduced us to his latest banging track which is called “cellfee” named after the trending style of taking facial pictures/photos which are uploaded on social media.

This must have club and street banger was released during  Intwasa Arts Festival KO Bulawayo 2015 last month and during the recently held Miss Lupane State University. When asked this question “Critics say you are mimicking Nigerians, what do you have to say?, “I am in love with my sound and culture and I do not care what other people say, the response to my new sound has been good.”

Mzoe7 is doing a lot of moves in the Bulawayo music scene, among one of them is a house music project under Defined House Music which he featured on ; he is involved with some charity work. He promises his fans massive fireworks from his new sound during the festive season and more great features, music videos to be out soon.
