Street Beer Festival Lightens up Gweru

The much anticipated beer festival has come and gone but it has left many memories especially to the fun loving Midlands State University Students.

Beer festival first of its kind was held at club Eclipse in Gweru from Friday to Sunday but it was its inception on Friday that shook the Gweru community and everybody flocked there to witness the much awaited Street Beer Fest.

The event started on a low note with the crew making some effort to make the festival a must attend and to have lasting memories.Good sound system was on place and the Dj of the day and probably the best on set delivered some quality music which did not disappoint the crowd.

Dj Ntoxx as he is best known on the tables did not disappoint unleashing hit after hit of good house music and the crowd did not hesitate to follow the beat dancing to the tunes

“Im very much humbled by the crowd who are appreciating this kind of house music. It seems house music has a very huge following here in Gweru also same as in Byo, said the heavily built Dj

The other Djs did nt dissappoint also as they played hit tracks after hit from Zim dancehall to hip hop

The event was well organised except for few mishaps which included undesignated pay up points as there was many places one have to pay just to get to the club, draught beer came very late at around 9pm much to the disappointment of the revellers

“The festival was great but next time they must try to get their things done in done in order for smooth progress,” said a very joyful student

The organizers of the event must market the event massively especially on the internet in order for it to be successful next time said another student.

Efforts to get a comment from the manager were fruitless as he was said to be busy with the trying to get things done.
