Women in Theater and Television (WiTT) will premiere their new play Let it Out at the National Gallery of Zimbabwe in Bulawayo on 4 December. The event will start at 4pm.
Let it Out is an hour-long interactive play that explores and challenges gender based violence experienced by women from various socio-economic backgrounds in Zimbabwe.
The women meet in a queue while waiting to be seen by a well-known local prophet.
They comically share their trials and tribulations punctuated with tears of joy and sorrow.
Let it Out is a must watch play co-written and directed by the experienced and versatile Thembelihle Moyo, Nonhlalo Dube and Nomashawekazi Damasane. Its cast consists of Sarah Mpofu–Sibanda, Nomashawekazi Damasane, Precious Makulumo, Gift Chakuvinga, NomvuyisoMpofu and Qeqeshiwe Mntambo.
