Bulawayo based tribal house trio Djembe Monks will serenade crowds at the closing ceremony of the inaugural edition of the Matobo Heritage Festival at Amagugu International Heritage Centre.

The “Monks” will be joined by Nobuntu, Sunduza and Drums of Peace for a memorable day on the rocks. The last day of the heritage festival has been set aside as a family fun day and will see families drive from the ever busy city to spend the day in the UNESCO heritage world site.

Djembe Monks have been popular with giving top drawer acts whenever they get a chance to perform and usually leave fans yearning for more.  Hopefully, it will be the same this time around.

The Festival has been running since Monday and has been a hive of activity with school students visiting the site.
