The European union (EU) in Zimbabwe, in partnership with 11 member states, is set to host a four day film festival from October 25 -28 at the National Art Gallery in Bulawayo.
The film festival will feature a collection of films from the European Union, and two films will screened be every evening. The film festival will be a free event.
In May 2017 the European Union hosted a similar event in the capital Harare and saw the eleven films being spread across five days.
The festival will kick off with Almanya, a German multi award-winning comedy film which takes an analysis of the integration of Turkish culture in Germany follows the story of a family headed by patriarch Hussein, who immigrated to Germany in the ’60s.
