LOL Entertainment Off On The Right Foot


With A number of gigs having been lined up last Sartuday the one by LOL Entertainment ZimAsset The 2 million Jokes wowed crowds and left a mark in the comedy business.The show which was a mixed bag with poetry,dance and comedy which was the major highlight.The host of the show T1NDA proved that not only singing is part of his daily life,but can also give renowed MC’s a run.

The show which started just after 7 proved to be a killer from the on set with the Super Geeks Dance Crew giving a mouth watering act. Next on stage was Farirai The Gospel Poet who like usual gave a top notch act. He opened with the poem Black is beautiful, the reacheness in his words left many crumbling for more.

The theme of the day was centred on the controversial  (Zim-Asset) Farirai gave a piece titled “NO COMMENT” in which he narrated the issues on corruption,abuse of funds,how Marange Resources were being personalised he closed the poem with a line “I Live It to God”. He then gave a poem “CHISA” and closed with his famous AWUZI TYPE YANGU, which left the crowd yearning for more.

As the show looked like a male dominated affair Tracy Teespoon who got laughing with her use of words and accent. She gave an amazing poetry piece.

As Comedy was the main act Marshal Elando Da G took to the stage and left many confused and wondering. As he gave an unimpressing run. MaForty – Forty who was making his comedy debut gave a top drawer perfomance that drove the crowd into cheers.

Man of the moment Makokoba born Comedian Keith Nkosi proved that comedy runs in his veins as he gave a mouth watering perfomance which was laced with cracker jokes that left many in stiches,in one of his comic lines Nkosi talked about the difference between Father Christmas and Santa Claus which was an eye opener to many and made some clamour for internet dictionaries to verify the facts.

Speaking to our news crew after the show Nkosi said he makes sure he has material after every show,he also appreciated LOL Entertainment and said the guys have bought new ideas and in that case have bought new comedy auidence to the city.He believed with such initiatives our entertainment sector is destined for dizzy heights.

LOL Entertainment officials thanked all those who attended and those who offered support for the success of the show. People who attended the event promised to continue supporting such initiatives as long it is done properly and urged artists to perfect their art always.
