In brief tell us about yourself and your work?
I was born in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe and started modelling in 2008. In 2010 I was voted Bulawayo’s best male model.
I did many Fashion Shows in and around Zimbabwe. In 2012 I was voted Zimbabwe’s Sexiest Man Alive. I moved to South Africa. At that time was accepted into one of the top modelling agencies called G3.
I featured on a local SA soapie called High Rollers (SABC3.) My biggest break came in 2014 when I landed a role as a TV Presenter for a reality Show called Clean House Africa that currently airs on Africa Magic and Metro TV in Nigeria.
Are you a comedian or a social commentator?
I can’t call myself a comedian well at least not yet. I have my funny moments though, I guess their more than most normal people.
My advice is stay in school and push towards that dream. Success is when preparation meets opportunity.
I am a social commentator. I love sharing opinions and giving a different unbiased opinion on relevant issues affecting our communities, such as politics and things that affect me and you.
One thing you cannot leave without?
There’s many things I cannot live without, but one that I would completely not function without would be my faith in God. It’s what has kept me going and it’s what gives me hope for a better day.
In brief tell us about a community initiative you were doing in tsholotsho last year?
My mentor Hazel Meares has an initiative to feed and empower disadvantaged communities around Zimbabwe. She runs an organisation called I AM Bible Distribution.
Opportunities come to us everyday and being prepared for them is showing leadership abilities.
It’s objective is to empower the youth by providing career guidance, equipping them with Christ’s principles and the word. I work with her as a facilitator. I have never done a better job than serving those who are in need. The fulfilment is amazing.
What advice will you give to young people who would like to be like you?
I ain’t sure if I am in a position to give advice to anyone because truth is I have failed in so many endeavours in life and still up on my feet because of perseverance. But one thing that no one can take away from you is your education and principles.
My advice is stay in school and push towards that dream. Success is when preparation meets opportunity. Opportunities come to us everyday and being prepared for them is showing leadership abilities. So many young people are consumed in arts and hip hop nothing wrong with that.
However, what of that little boy who always dreamed of becoming a dentist or an attorney? Not everyone can be famous but everyone can be effective in the field that they are super good at .
