Born Mulgan Dalubuhle Sibanda on the 22nd of August 1990 and better known as Khoi Khoi in the music industry, he saw the gap between local people who were eager to support fresh local talent but could not easily access it and artistes who were struggling to get shows and build a fan base, seized the opportunity to realize his dream of being a promoter and came up with the Sunday Chillout Sessions.

Khoi Khoi came up with the idea during the second week of this year and on Sunday 17th January 2016,the Sunday Chillout Sessions was launched at Umqombothi Leisure Center in Nkulumane. The mission being to produce, promote and market creativity from seasoned and upcoming artistes in Bulawayo and Zimbabwe.

The main objectives to be achieved through this event are to celebrate diversity and creativity in music, to create new markets for upcoming artistes through collaborations and partnerships, with seasoned and international artistes, to inspire and motivate social transformation, love and peace within the youth and lastly to strategically mobilize audiences for the upcoming artistes and the event itself.

This event is mobile.lt is held in different suburbs around Bulawayo. To date it has accommodated more than fifty artistes including Hwabaraty, Kidd Eggo, Mac ,Kadder, Shirati Drums, Nelly Mckessie, Wrong Turn, Frost, DJ  Sweeto, Dj Khumz, Dj Phibbz, Dj Sherrif ,Dj Prince and Dj Peace to mention a few. So far it has been held in Nkulumane, Mpopoma, Nketa 8, and Phelandaba and a compilation album is set to be released before August.

Due to lack of funds at the moment, the event is being held at Sports Bars and Beer Gardens where there are already available resources like Sound System and stage. Khoi Khoi’s vision is to have the event held in open air places so that it accommodates everyone and exposes the artistes to a wider audience and in a few years’ time he sees the event leading in the creation of platforms that promote music and upcoming artistes in Zimbabwe.

Besides organizing and promoting the Sunday Chillout Sessions,Khoi Khoi is also a Fresh Juice Wear brand ambassador, features in Kadder’s latest single Yes l Am,holds 3 Club Forty40 Music Awards 2014,Best Contemporary Music Winner at the Bulawayo 120yrs Competition 2014,launched collabo single Tipeiwo hwahwa done with Oskidd,Legion and DJ Tamuka and album Da Khoi San 2014,Finalist at the Intwasa  Bulawayo’s Got Talent Show and Amakhosi Dreams to Fame in 2011.
