Theatre for Everyone continues to produce plays every last Friday of the month. This months’ play is titled Kosha and the drifter written by Farai Mpofu.
Kosha and the drifter is a story of a young woman who tries to interview a mentally ill street manas part of her sociology course requirements. Kosha ends up falling in love with the tramp and all hell breaks loose when her parents reject their prospective son in law.
The play will be staged at the new venue Elite 400 (RG Mugabe /9th Avenue, Bulawayo) on the 24th of June 2016 at 6pm and is directed by the renowned poet, scriptwriter and director MgciniNyoni assisted by Prince Mazilankatha.
The cast features Sindiso Magiso, Clinton Ndlovu, Bruce Mutero, the queen of Kwaito Charity Mpala (Chets) and Lady Tshawe a multi talented Artiste.
‘Theatre for Everyone is a monthly theatre program that intends to build up theatre audience attendance whilst a creating a marketable, sustainable and support worthy theatre industry.
This is done through introducing fresh, original and entertaining theatre play. The plays are showcased every last Friday of the month at Elite 400.
Already about three plays have been showcased, these include, The Ben 10, Untikolotshi and Reflection.
