Tourism in Zimbabwe has been given a new lease on life by a dynamic duo of innovative women. Paida Fundira and Sindi Kayembe both residing in the diaspora were inspired by the love of travel and the beauty of Zimbabwe’s culture, food and hidden gems to launch their local travel guide.
The two ladies map out all the spectacular natural wonders as well as restaurants, hotels and activities that are worthwhile and yet very often overlooked and share them on social media.
This amazing platform not only promotes domestic and international tourism but also strives shift the narrative brought about our political, economic and cultural landscape to the better as well as support and empower local businesses.
At the end of this year, the dedicated team plans to have its very first ever group tour meant to feature destinations like Inyanga, Victoria falls and Chimanimani. These ladies are the epitome of patriotism as they work tirelessly from the UK in conjunction with the Zimbabwe tourism association on their journey of discovery to restore Zimbabwe as one of the top African destinations, after all we do boast with one of the worlds wonders.
