The only question we have is When is the next show? The whole village should make time and attend.

Over the past week Fragile opened at Bulawayo Theatre and had a run for 2 days, we managed to watch the production on its last day and all we can say it bought some theatre moments we all yearn for everyday. The young theatre actors performed to a sizable audience of eager theatre fans, who enjoyed every bit of the production.

First of all, we were so impressed by how the cast handled themselves on stage. Not so long ago some of the actors were at High school and we will often see them at drama competitions, it was later that some of them pursued theatre and are now doing the most on stage today. Our theatre future looks bright we only have to keep them support them and come and watch them on stage we have a new crop of actors/actresses in town.

The second thing we loved about “Fragile” was the set, light and the props we loved the coordination of the cast in becoming props for the show that one was well executed. This 3 moved the play one could easily relate.

Thirdly, the tension at one point we were all angry the cast and the audience, remember the days when South Africa was burning with Xenophobia the feeling you got when you were watching the news the anger and the disbelief of how fellow Africans were killing each other. Fragile bought all that up imagine watching all that history on stage.

We also loved the songs it took us way back in time, the days that we will all watch theatre productions in community halls. We have watched a number theatre productions in recent times but this one stands out  the cast kept it authentic.

The only question we have is When is the next show? The whole village should make time and attend.
