NetOne has done the unthinkable and partnered with the Roil Bulawayo Arts Awards! Yep, you read that right! Zimbabwe’s first cellular network operator has joined the growing Bulawayo awards family which is on its second edition this year. The organisers yesterday took to social media to announce the great news that will see NetOne (via its One Money brand) support the arts.
This comes after the awards got a $20 000 backing from United Refineries via its Roil Brand in April this year. In turn, they adopted the title sponsorship for the awards. NetOne will support our category for the Outstanding Online Media House which makes us more excited as we believe it will help the winner with news delivery in Bulawayo as most of our online startups are currently self funded. The network of choice will also support three other categories: Outstanding Ambassador Rest of the World, Music Video of the Year and Male artist of the year.
The best part is NetOne is further offering a 10 percent discount to anyone who will buy tickets to the awards ceremony using One Money. Ticket buyers stand a chance to win exciting giveaways. Among them are power banks, airtime and internet dongles.
