So as we approach winter I will be dropping a few flu remedies as well.
During winter I actually encourage herbal lemon tea and reduce on my usual coffee.
Flue remedy of the week Ginger Tea
You will need:
Chopped fresh mint
Boil your water with the chopped ginger. Add your teabag, sliced lemons, honey and lastly the fresh mint.
Simple Breakfast idea
Chilli chicken liver on Avo on Toast
For your chilli chicken livers:
You will need
Freshly ground Salt and Pepper
Add your olive oil to a hot pan
Add your livers and cook
Add your sliced onions
Add the chopped jalapeno (for a milder flavour remove the seeds from the jalapeno)
Add your chopped tomatoes
Add cayenne pepper
Peel and slice your avo put it on your toast and season it with Himalayan salt.
Add the chilli chicken livers
*Avocado is high in unsaturated fat and omega three so it’s a very healthy superfood
Roast Pumpkin Soup
You Will need:
Finely Diced onions
Cut deseed and drizzle olive oil on your pumpkin and roast in the oven until it’s soft. Saute the onions and garlic
*Add roasted pumkins to sauteed onions
*Add stock and reduce till the pumpkin softens.
Serve with a drizzle of olive oil and roasted pumpkin seeds or a crouton.
