On Saturday Miss Culture Trust crowned Michelle Mabuza as the 2018 Miss culture Bulawayo province winner. The provincial finale was held at the Homestead Conference Centre.
The College of Creative Arts Africa (CCAA) student had to battle with 13 other finalists to bag the title. Mabuza was also the crowd’s favourite due to her confidence on the ramp.
National University of Science and Technology(NUST) fourth year financial student Junior Ndelele was the first princess, whilst Priscilla Kaseke was the second princess. Mandisi Moyo was crowned Miss culture Personality and Sibonginkosi Mguni got the Miss Culture people’s choice.
The 2018 Miss Culture winner walked away with cash, hampers, vouchers and other incentives worth $1 200, while the first princess won a prize worth $800 with the second princess getting a price worth $500
“The provincial edition of Miss Culture was a success and we would like to thank all our sponsors who came on board to support us” said Hector Chikowore who is part of the organizing team.
Khaya Arts and Afro Vibe entertained the crowd with Khulumani FM’s drive time duo of Cde Phil and Tracy Ndlovu being the pageant Mc’s.
The pageant which attracted the who’s who from Bulawayo including business people, socialites and entertainers.
