According to a Gorindemabwe Frontier list published on 263chat.com earlier this week, Bulawayo contributed 10 of the 100 most influential Zimbabweans under 40 of 2018.
Sandra Ndebele,Mbo Mahocs, Arthur Evans, Mzoe 7, Gilmore Tee, Takunda Chingonzoh, Vusa Blaqs, Merrylin Ngwenya, NoViolet Bulawayo and Sibongumusa Dhlodlo made it into the list.
The Gorindemabwe Frontier describes itself as an “arc of acumen platform whose mandate is to inspire thought leadership in Africa, annually compiles a list of notable Zimbabwean figures amongst them being Sport,Youths, Arts and Recreation and Culture Minister Kirsty Coventry, popular MDC lawyer Advocate Thabani Mpofu, Jah Prayzah and Kaizer Chiefs’ Khama Billiat.
Sandra Ndebele is ranked number 32, while South African based actress and MC Mbo Mahocs is on 48,global citizen Gilmore Tee is on 56, with Harare based videographer Vusa Blaqs on 61. ZBC Montrose studios provided more names to the list with Sibongumusa Dhlodlo,(88), news reader Arthur Evans (12) and Merrylin Ngwenya (50).
Tech Village founder Takunda Chingonzoh is ranked 43,NoViolet Bulawayo is on 86 while kwasa kwasa hit maker Mzoe 7 is on 91.
