All is set for this years edition of the Orap Zenzele Isuzu Champions Cup set to start this Friday.
The annual tournament which is in sixth edition will be held at Gifford High School.
Eight boys’ and eight girls’ schools will battle for honours.
The boys category has three schools from Matabeleland North, the same number for Matabeleland South while Bulawayo and Midlands have one representative each.
The girls category has three schools from Matabeleland South, Matabeleland North and Midlands and have two schools each with Townsend High School set to represent Bulawayo.
Tongwe Secondary boys and Mzimuni Secondary girls make a return for this years edition and are set to defend the titles won last year.
In the spirit of the African Cup of Nations (AFCON),tournament the teams will be using AFCON participating teams’ names.
The tournament is inspired by ORAP’s vision of creating a distinguished sporting community in Rural Zimbabwe. The tournament was established in 2014 and supported by Autoworld Zimbabwe via its Isuzu brand.
