Bulawayo loves Berita it seems because all the 300 tickets which were available for free for her Live and Unplugged show have been claimed in less than 24hours.
The show is slated for Saturday 22 June at the National Art Gallery in Bulawayo and 300 fans will get a glimpse of the star for free.
The Bulawayo gallery broke the news on their social media platforms. “Oh wow! We can’t wait to see you all on Saturday 22 June at #BYOgallery –2pm. Bring a pillow & a small blanket, just in case the weather gets chilly.”
The award-winning afro-soul musician who will be in the city to visit her grandmother will use the trip as an opportunity to also host a free show for her Bulawayo fans.
Berita last performed a solo show in Bulawayo last October at Red Café. The songbird gave a stellar performance and those who missed were left with hopes of seeing her as she got positive reviews.
Berita is the voice behind hits Thandolwethu and Mwana Wamai that featured the late Oliver Mtukudzi and Hugh Masekela.
