5 Things You Should Know About Bhadilah

He shot to fame in 2013 with the album “African Child” which he did while doing his “A levels” at JZ Moyo High School in Matebeleland South Province.

In his quest to start his musical journey he used his school pocket money to fund the recording of his debut album.

Besides having one of his songs “Dzungudza” as  a top chart rocker on Zimbo-Weekend show on Power FM, here are 5 more interesting things to know about Beitbridge based house musician Bhadilah.

1. Bhadilah made a name for himself with his track (Murena Vhonkonela/ UThixo Uyangenzela / Mwari Mandigonera) that he did in 2018 after being nominated for the Outstanding House/Gqom Artist and also winning the Best Alternative artist at The Glam Awards in Gweru. This track was titled in 3 languages that is TshaVenḓa, isiNdebele and chiShona.

2.He is currently doing his Diploma in Information Technology with Joshua Mqabuko Nkomo Polytechnic.

3. Bhadilah ventured into music scene when he was still at High School and used his pocket money to fund his debut album.

4. Bhadilah becomes the first if not the only artist from Beitbridge to have ever  been nominated for the Roil Byo Arts Awards & The Glam Awards.

5. A year ago Bhadilah was voted the best artiste in the Best Alternative category and outshone well established artistes;  like Tocky Vibes, Coco We Africa and Jazz Prosper at the Glam awards.
