Civil servants granted USD salary raise

The government of Zimbabwe has offered a 25 percent salary increment to civil servants in United States dollar terms.

The development will see government employees getting US$200 with effective from 1 September 2022.

However, there was no increment for local currency salaries.

This comes after government and civil servants representatives met on Tuesday, 20 September 2022 under the National Joint Negotiating Council (NJNC).
